Coaching for Transformational Leadership


Transformational leadership is linked directly to a leader's experience of transformation within themselves. Transformation is a form of evolution - growing from one stage of existence to the next. This can can feel like venturing into the unknown - letting go of the strategies and ways of 'showing up' which have made you successful up til now, in order to make room for the new. So for example, changing from being highly effective at an operational level of leadership, to adopting a style where your main value comes from acting more strategically and empowering others - even if it means they outshine you in certain ways, but for the greater good.


To make that shift you need to build a quality of self-confidence and assuredness which means that both you and the organisation can more foward and grow. It's about letting go in order to move forward, like a trapeze artist who lets go in order to move from one swing to the next.
