Team and Board Coaching

In my experience coaching teams is one of the most rewarding and fascinating aspects my work. Different challenges and opportunities present themselves at different stages of a team's life-cycle, which are in turn impacted by the degree of stability or change within the organisational environment, team membership and team goals or priorities.


Typically I will:


  • take time to understand the team's challenges and opportunities from a wide number of team member and diverse stakeholder perspectives
  • keep in regular contact with team leaders or key sponsors to keep updated on progress and to co-evolve effective strategies and solutions together
  • create and deliver a schedule of events which are designed to achieve real-world value and impact, whilst at the same time holding a mirror up to team behaviours, attitudes and approaches
  • offer 121 or CRC with key individuals and relationships, where relevant
  • create regular review points to assess progress
  • support sustainability by embedding effective team processes so that success is maintained after the coaching is finished


I base my approaches on established models of team building, team performance and trust building, combined with creative techniques to reshape entrenched patterns of thinking and behaviours.
