Team Development
Well-functioning teams provide the energy, collaboration and expertise to achieve organisational outcomes. A team away day can provide quality, in-depth reflective space to step back from the day to day and think strategically with greater clarity. And longer-term interventions can support teams to be high performing, even whilst going through significant change.
Examples of team development includes:
- HR team at Birmingham University (including estates, people and organisation development, health and safety as well as core HR functions) over a period of time of health absence and subsequent return of the HRD - to support alignment and cohesion during a critical phase of digital and university-wide transformation
- Leadership and team coaching to a nationally renowned training company, to support the two founder leaders in transitioning day to day running of the business to the senior leadership team over a phased transition period.
- A week-long ‘sprint’ for ecological services company Ubico as they drafted their next year’s strategy, engaging stakeholders across a wide ecosystem of board members and leaders from the regional council, reconciling diverse competing interests.
- Supporting the co-creation of a ‘native’ team performance framework for Vivobarefoot, bringing team leaders together to collaborate on a shared ‘Vivo way’ to support self-managed teams.
- Targeted interventions and team away days for departmental teams across Birmingham City University.
